Engineering

At Elite Polyurethane, we offer the full spectrum – from problem-solving, to technical design, to engineering and delivery of your product.

Drawing

In the conceptual design phase, our technical draughtsman works closely with our clients to not only consider their needs but enhance the vision of the final product. Elite Polyurethane Engineering uses the Solid Works Inventor Programme to facilitate innovative solutions and tailor-made options. This part of the process is offered at no charge to our client which demonstrates our commitment to providing outstanding service.

Our experienced team will then create prototypes, develop any in-house tooling that may be required and work intimately with the engineering team who will accompany the product into the next phase of its journey. Once a working unit has been created, the engineering team refines the product design to determine the best manufacturing process possible and the right materials for the project. This group of experts will also coordinate the relevant testing and ensure the manufacturing process is cost-effective for our customer.

CHEM COMPOSITION

At Elite Polyurethane Engineering, we understand that every product application requires specific, and sometimes tailored, physical properties to perform optimally in its intended environment.

With our large-scale meter mix machines, we can run multiple formulations at one time, dispensing up to 55kgs per minute. The increased production capacity allows Elite to produce bulk, efficiently. For small batch orders and bespoke goods, semi-automated polyurethane conversation is available.

During the curing process, products are stringently monitored to ensure that the desired physical properties properly develop. Hardness and abrasion tests are conducted at set intervals, which allows us to control the quality of product that is ejected from the mould.

With the ability to process large volumes machine-dispensed material, Elite Polyurethane Engineering is the most competitive fabrication company in Southern Africa. Machine-dispensed material presents up to 20% better properties in the products constitution. This method also ensures that the final product and process is cost
